Beautiful roadster with excellent visual appeal! This former Texas car comes complete with Heritage Certificate and a fresh cosmetic restoration! The MGA is long hailed as one of British Motor Corporation best looking creations. With elegant curves that truly highlight this classy, English roadster, it has cemented itself in the collector car world as a must-have for driver enthusiasts! We are very proud to offer this 1959 MGA roadster refinished in correct Black exterior over new Black vinyl with red piping interior. This wonderful example was completely restored cosmetically! Fitted with a rebuilt 1500cc straight 4 engine equipped with the more dependable Weber carburetor/Pierce aluminum intake and mated to 4-speed manual transmission, it produces an estimated 70 horsepower. (The original SU carburetors and intake will be included with the sale.) Additional service work included cleaned and boiled radiator; new water pump, hoses, and belt; brand new clutch kit; all new brakes, brake master cylinder, and brake lines; and new exhaust! Options include Smiths heater, adjustable steering column, side curtains with sliding windows, 15” wire spoke wheels with brand new Coker Classic whitewall 4-ply polyester tires! Outside, the car was treated to a full repaint in factory correct gloss black with new gray fender beading, replacement windscreen and seal, new chrome bumpers and overriders, new headlight and taillight bezels, new chrome grill and shell, new rear chrome license light, fresh MG emblems, fender-mounted mirrors, and headlight guards! Further improvements were made on the interior with all new black interior upholstery accented perfectly with red piping, brand new carpets, door panels, padded dash, and new convertible top! Complete with a matching spare tire, knock-off tool, and Heritage Certificate to document original specifications! This car also bares North American MGA Registry car No. 7238.
